1. In order to ensure that athletes from the state perform commendably and win the maximum number of medals in important international competitions such as the Olympics, Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games, Mission Lakshyavedh” scheme will be implemented. 

1. Selective “High Performance Centres” will be established for 12 sports including Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Weightlifting, Hockey, Wrestling, Archery, Shooting, Rowing, Sailing, Lawn Tennis, and Table Tennis .which will include top-quality sports facilities and equipment, sports medicine science, sports coaches, sports equipment, incentives, and awards for athletes, along with the participation of domestic and foreign institutions for the development of athletes’ capabilities.  

2. Proficiency centres for selected sports will be established at the district level under the Sports Talent Development Centres. 

3. Well-equipped sports medicine laboratories will be set up in Nagpur, Kolhapur, Nashik and Chattrapati Sambhajinagar.
