Sports grace marks are additional marks awarded to students-athletes to recognize their participation and exceptional performance in sports, games, at various competitive levels (district, state, national or international) NCC, NSS, or arts, helping to boost their overall academic results. These marks are typically added to the total score, often helping students pass or improve grades in board exams (like SSLC/Plus Two) or university, with specific, variable quotas for district, state, and national levels.  

This is applicable for regular, Bonafide students participating in authorized, recognized or inter-collegiate competitions. 

Grace Marks for students’ athletes appearing for 10^th and 12^th board exams 

1. Participation in official international competitions – 25 marks 

2. Participation in official national competitions – 15 marks and proficiency – 20 marks 

3. Participation in official state-level competitions – 10 marks and proficiency – 15 marks 

4. Participation in official division-level competitions – 5 marks and proficiency – 10 marks 

5. Proficiency in official district-level competitions – 5 marks and participation – 0 marks.
